Raisume’s: Very AWESOME manga, the only problem… ITS MONTHELY! Very dramatic manga, makes you FEEL alot of stuff (which is weird). Has many disturbing scenes as well which may scare younger children. I actaully prefer the anime even though it took a comepletely different turn (I own the special edition movie!). This manga is hysterical due to Ed’s short complex. I give this manga a 7-10.

Gosuto’s: this manga rocks I like how complex and exhilerating the story is. I like this manga because theres lots a fighting and and its a little depressing at the same time . Things I don’t like about this manga are…. well for one thing, some of the bad guys look kinda stupid, and thats about it. And this manga gets a 9 outa 10

REVIEW CURRENTLY WAITING FOR REVISIONS

Summary: Tsukushi Makino, a working-class girl, attends an elite elevator school called Eitoku Academy, populated by children from rich, high-society families. She is the “weed” of the school, surrounded by all the rich kids, including the “Flower” Four (F4). Who hand out ‘red tags throughout the school to those they dislike. The red tags symbolize to the student body to run that person out of the school, to simply put it. Make that person’s life a living hell. When Tsukushi stands up for her friend against the F4, she finds herself with a red tag. She is teased, harassed and even abused but she will never stop fighting back. The F4 leader and son of the wealthiest, most powerful family in Japan, Tsukasa Domyoji, takes an interest in Tsukushi, because she is the only girl at Eitoku with that fighting spirit and does not fawn over him but detests him to the very core. However, his hot-headed nature and bullying ways are originally a major turn-off for Tsukushi, who has her sights set on someone else. The violinist Rui Hanazawa, Tsukasa’s best friend, becomes Tsukushi’s first serious romantic interest. Over the course of the series, however, Tsukushi’s feelings evolve, and she begins to appreciate the degree of change that occurred in Tsukasa once he fell in love with her. He becomes fiercely loyal to Tsukushi and believes in her beyond all doubt, and slowly gets her to see him in a different light. The physical obstacles and emotional challenges of their rocky high-school courtship form the basis of the story. (SUMMARY BY TSUUKUSHI)

Raisume: I’ve never read/watched it

Tsuukushi: The combination of sorrow, anger, humour, despair and love always kept you wanting more. The plot of the manga never ceases to amaze those reading. Though sometimes Kamio Youko’s portrayance of the plot was quite slow making me and maybe other reader’s endure only boredom. I found the comedy in the manga was very well done, but sometimes just thrown in at random taking interest away from the manga’s true potential. Ofcourse occurances like these happened rarely. The artwork in the manga was excellent, Youko’s touch of realism in the art really caught my attention and pushed me further to flip a page just to view more of the detail in each piece. The character designs were very well matched with the personalities of the character’s. The manga is definitely one of my favourites.

Comedy:9/10

Gosuto:I love this manga personaly i think it had a great plot and I LOVE IT so obviously ima give it a 10 outa 10 and my favorite charactor is tsukasa lol

Ratings

Raisume: Overall an exciting manga, but like all shounen, it has its utterly ridiculous parts. The manga also keeps going and going with no end in sight (which might be a good thing if it was a better story). One of the only good things I can think of is that the story is about ninjas. One of the things that really bugged me though, was that the comical parts were put in awkward situations. It seems that as the story progresses, the artwork degrades until it seems that Kishimoto thought shadows and shadings weren’t needed anymore. Honestly, the thing that bugs me the most is the characters’ clothing. The only outfits that I agree with only appear later on in the story as the main bad guys are introduced. The plot has a good idea in it, ninjas are cool, but the way that it’s delivered leaves much less than desired.

Character Design: 7/10

Comedy: 2/10

Tsuukushi: Naruto is a very exciting manga, not to mention the randomly funny parts. They also managed to mix in the perfect amount of sorrow and drama. Over all Kishimoto did a splendid job 9/10.

———————————-

Gosuto: I really love this manga because it was the very first manga I’ve ever read. It’s very sorrowful but still got a lot of fight scenes in it. Not only that, but it also has a lot a funny scenes. I give it a 10/10 because I must stay true to may first manga :) .

Ratings:

Raisume’s: One of the more moving shoujos I’ve had the pleasure to read. The artwork is very well done, the only problem that I can find, is that all of the girls have those disturbingly huge eyes. The plot was very interesting, but could use some work. I found the plot to be very repetitive in the way that characters are introduced. It seemed that every single character had a tragic story, some people may enjoy this, but it creates a depressing feel about the manga. I’d have to say that the comical parts were very funny and brought a smile to my face. Some parts of it though were very hard to read, given the stupidity of the character or moment.

Artwork: 9/10

Character Design: 7/10

Plot: 9/10

Comedy: 6/10

——————————–

Tsuukushi’s: Fruits Basket was definitely an emotional manga, but in a good way. I found that plot was very well done and creative. I mean who would ever think of that? I also very much liked the art work, except that sometimes I found that Takaya Natsuki drew some things out of proportion.  But I have to agree with Raisume that the plot was very repetitive along the with character’s past of tragic happenings. That was probably the greatest fraction of the manga I disliked. I found the comedy well done, though sometimes ridiculous. Though over all, I do enjoy the manga, but there are definitely some let downs.

Artwork: 9/10

Character Design: 8/10

Plot: 9/10

Comedy: 7/10

Gosuto: Not the best shoujo ever, but I liked the emotion the author put into it. The plot was pretty good as well. This manga gets a 7 out of 10 because of the emotion and feelings that it gives the reader.

Ratings:

Raisume’s: A very good manga, contains lots of the stuff that is required for a shounen manga. Mainly outrageous fightscenes where they power up in ungodly levels as the fight progresses. This is the second manga I’ve ever read and it keeps me looking forward ’till the next issue comes out. The artwork of this manga isn’t the best I’ve ever seen, but like I always say, it’s better than I could ever do. An always present theme in most shonen mangas, the bad guys have utterly ridiculous powers. Most of the antagonists aren’t very fun to look at either. The plot, like most other mangas, is what keeps me coming back. The humor can also be sometimes very strained, like Tite Kubo put it there at the last minute, which can make the reader feel very awkward. So far, the manga has over 300 chapters, and with long mangas comes repetitiveness. As the story arcs progress, it feels as if the same things happen again and again, only with different characters.

Artwork: 7/10

Character Designs: 9/10

Plot: 8/10

Comedy: 5/10

Gosuto’s: I like Bleach because it has a good storyline and it’s an exciting read. All of the blood and gore is very satisfying as well. Reading this manga keeps me occupied, that is, until I have to wait for the next chapter! Bleach gets a 10/10

——————————-

Tsuukushi’s:

Bleach is definitely a well done manga, I found the plot very well done, and the fight scenes were irresistible. The manga always keeps you wanting more and keeps you on your toes. I didn’t mind the artwork, though I must admit I have seen better. I found the humor well done, but sometime’s Tite Kubo added it in at random, making me and maybe other readers confused. I must agree with Raisume that Bleach can be repetitive just taking a little creativeness out of the picture. Nontheless, I must say Bleach is a fantastic manga over all, but just like others, has the smallest of let downs.
